We’ll keep this short, because there isn’t much to say.
What we collect
- Your email address — but only if you hand it to us through the signup form. No name, nothing else.
- Anonymous, aggregate analytics about how the site is used (through PostHog), so we can tell whether anyone’s actually reading. We don’t tie that to who you are.
Why
- The email: so we can tell you once, when Specimens is ready. One message.
- The analytics: to understand which parts of the site land and which don’t.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your email. We don’t share the list. We don’t hand it to an ad network. PostHog may set a cookie to count a visit; we’ve set it to build a profile only for people who identify themselves, so anonymous visitors stay anonymous. Your email never goes into analytics.
